Intentionally Unfocused is a game for those searching for purpose. It's not about THE ONE GOAL or perfection; it’s about starting.
We will pick 10 goals for "THE LIST." Update it as you grow—no penalties, only progress.
Act daily, document weekly, and see who you become.
I’ve shared MY LIST—now it’s your turn. Let’s begin.
The Game & How to Play
The Game
-
Discover your path by taking deliberate action.
-
Focus on progress, not perfection.
-
Learn who you become through your journey.
The Rules
-
The List Must Contain Exactly 10 Items
-
No more, no less.
-
These can be anything meaningful to you—big or small.
2. The List Is Flexible
-
Update goals as needed, but always replace an old one with a new one.
-
Completed goals are recorded on paper with the date and placed in a jar.
3. Discard With Intention:
-
If you remove a goal, document why and keep it in a discard pile.
-
Reflect on what didn’t work to avoid wasting energy revisiting it.
4. No Penalty, Shame, or Time Limits:
-
There’s no wrong way to approach this, as long as you take daily action.
5. Progress Every Day:
-
Each day requires effort toward one or more items on your List.
6. Document Your Journey:
-
Keep a log of your actions and insights.
-
Report on progress weekly, monthly, and yearly.
7. Focus on Action, Not Results:
-
The goal is not to plan perfectly but to walk the path and see where it leads.
Why This Approach?
Life isn’t about optimizing every tiny detail—it’s about exploration and growth. This game helps reduce indecision and builds momentum toward discovering what truly matters to you.

Throughout my life, the people I’ve admired most have always been those who lead from the front. If that’s the standard I hold others to, then why would I ask anyone to try something I’m not willing to do myself? The answer is simple: I wouldn’t.
So, here’s my list.
Every week, I’ll dive into my experiences, sharing what works, what doesn’t, and what could use some tweaking. I’ll podcast, blog, and document this journey—even when it gets ugly. My hope is that by sharing my process, you’ll find inspiration to create your own ‘List’ and play along in your own way.

Who this is NOT for
Those Who Have It All Figured Out - If your life is already on track, this isn’t for you.
Result Chasers - If you need instant success or guarantees, look elsewhere.
The Action-Averse - If you’re not ready to take daily steps, this game won’t work for you.
The Optimization Obsessive - If you’re looking to squeeze out the last 1% of efficiency, this isn’t about fine-tuning.
Let’s focus on walking the path—not worrying about its destination.

WHAT'S NEW

"This is about action. The point is to walk the path for the sake of the path and see who you become as you do that." - SP
Meet SP
I am an adult female in the second half of her life. I currently live in the East Coast of Canada, and I was previously a cog in a wheel at a traditional job. I am married with no kids, and until the recent death of my last beloved dog, I was the proud dog mom to two maniacs.
I have had many interests, educational experiences and jobs over the years, but have always felt like something was missing. I am extremely creative and writing and creating are easy for me. I am in a good financial position, but because I am too young to retire, cashflow is a priority.
I am in decent health, but a recent health scare has made losing weight and becoming healthier a priority.
I recently shuttered a business I had been working on for two and a half years, which was an incredible experience, but ultimately did not work.
I always felt like my interest in many things made me look flighty, but I realize now that it’s all part of the journey. My biggest mistake was in not making "The List", and running experiments to move my agenda forward and find my joy.
A big mistake I made was in not understanding: Just because you are good at something or are capable of doing it doesn’t mean that’s where you need to be. Now, I’m embracing the path ahead with curiosity and openness, ready to see where this journey leads. Follow me, and I hope we cross paths one day!
